Cut the Rope: one cool Android game for kids

I installed Cut the Rope on my Android noting that it is one of the most downloaded games for Android. I enjoyed the interfaced, the silly levels and after 15 minutes I had completed the game, which made me think: this game is sure nice, but entertaining rather to kids.

The purpose of the game is to get the candy into the dinosaur’s mouth. You cannot move the dinosaur but you can move the candy, which is bounded to several wires. Cut the wires in the right order, so that the candy lands directly in the dinosaur’s mouth. It’s pretty easy… after a few level you pretty much get the move and can go on from level to level pretty easy. But I’m sure it won’t become boring to your little kid! The cute graphics and background sounds bring even more charm to Cut the Rope.

Cut the Rope is entirely free and you can download it from the Android Market.

Fruit Ninja for Android

Fruit Ninja, a very popular iPhone game has now entered the Android Market, with a game version that is just as amazing as the iPhone version. Fruit Ninja is a juicy action with squishy, splatty and satisfying fruit carnage. Ninja Sensei, your master, will accompany you on your journey and always help you with wise words and funny fruit ninja tricks. The 3D graphics are completely astonishing, with fruit splattering their juices gruesomely across the background. This is one of the most fun Android games I’ve ever played!

In my opinion the developers should consider making this game compatible to other platforms as well. I bet Windows Mobile users would love to get access to Fruit Ninja.

And here’s the best thing about this game: it’s almost free. You just have to pay 99 US cents and then you can download Fruit Ninja directly from the Android Market.

Zombie, Run!

This is probably one of the stranges games I have ever seen. Considering that it is even right to call this android application a game.

Zombie,Run is a small application, that has been recently developed for Google Android. Your purpose is to avoid being cought by zombies that are near you and in order to do this, you must literally move your legs and run. Not just press some buttons or stimulate your phone’s accelerometer.

In order to start playing the game, you have to turn your GPS on and wait for the game to find zombies that are near you. The application detects green and red zombies. The green zombies are just walking around the streets, scaring people and making chaos, while the red zombies are the ones that are coming out to get you.

But here comes the most fun part of the game. If you have some friend with Android Phones, you can ask them to install Zombie, Run! as well and then you can start haunting zombies together.
